A walkthrough of what's on WHFoods.info and how to navigate it.
Homepage
The homepage opens with a search bar for finding anything on the site — foods, recipes, nutrients, articles, and more. Below it you'll find at-a-glance content stats and links to featured sections so you can jump straight to what you need.
Browsing Foods
The foods index lists all 135 foods alphabetically. Use the letter navigation at the top to jump to a specific letter, or scroll through the full list. Each entry links directly to that food's detail page.
Reading a Food Page
Each food page is organized into tabs: a nutrients summary, a description of the food, related recipes, and a link to the full nutrient profile. The nutrients tab shows a ranked chart of what the food is richest in, with percent daily value columns.
Understanding Nutrient Profiles
Nutrient profile pages break down a food's full nutrient content, including vitamins, minerals, macronutrients, and phytonutrients. Each nutrient shows the amount per serving and the percent of daily value (%DV). Phytonutrients are grouped by category — flavonoids, carotenoids, and so on — showing the hierarchy within each family.
Finding Recipes
The recipes index lists all 355 recipes. You can browse the full list or use the search bar to filter by ingredient or recipe name. Each entry shows the recipe title and links to the full recipe page.
Reading a Recipe
Recipe pages include a full ingredient list with quantities, step-by-step directions, and a link to the recipe's nutrition profile. The nutrition profile page shows the nutrient breakdown per serving for that specific recipe.
Using Search
Search is available from the homepage search bar and from the search icon in the navigation bar on every page. It runs entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server. Results appear instantly as you type, covering all content types: foods, recipes, nutrients, articles, and more.
Meal Plans
The meal plans section contains 15 weekly plans, each organized by day. Every daily entry lists the meals for that day, with links to the individual recipe pages so you can see full ingredients and directions for anything on the plan.
